Promotions, Birthdays and Teen Romance

The next morning before Jamie left for work, she got a call from her boss telling her that she had passed all her Sunset Valley Boards and was now at the top of the ladder, A World Renowned Surgeon. Today is also Hanks and Jode’s birthdays.

After work until after sun down, Hank was at the park in town questioning ppl about a local robbery that had happened at the Goth Mansion over the weekend. The police believe that the wild party given by Mortie had gotten a little to wild. Hank totally forget that he was turning into an Adult today. So in the middle of his questioning, he aged up.

Back at home, Jode had finished a painting and she aged into a teenager.

The next day it was Saturday and I went into town to see who was there. Well, actually I called over to Sams and his dad said he was in town at the store. I actually found him by City Hall, trying to finish his homework, so I offered to help. Sam doesn’t know that I REALLY REALLY like him. We’ve been friends since grade school.  I’ve always kept my feelings for him to myself.  But today I was gonna change that.

I started out talking about school and how sissy was doing at boarding school. I was studdering and getting nervous. Sam asked me was I ok. Then it came out. I confessed that I had a crush on him since grade school and that I hoped I wasn’t being to forward, silly and UGH out of NO WHERE, the words just came out.

Jode: Sam will you go steady with me??

Sam: *clears throat blushing* Jode, hmm I don’t know what to say. *blushing*

I got scared. I wanted to run away, hide and never be heard from again. Then it happened!!

Sam: Jode, I feel the same way. I’ve loved you since the day you put the cherry bomb in old man Goths mailbox that day we dared you. I would be honored to go steady with you.

I was frozen to the spot. How did he remember that?? That was so many yrs ago and OMG, the spanking I received my dad when he found out!! I got yelled at about it from his captain at the station. Mom was embrassed.

At this point I was hopelessly lost. The one guy I have loved, besides my dad, liked me too!! All is perfect in my heart right now.. We talked for a long time about our feelings and being scared of what the other would say. We stopped outside the cornerstore.

It was starting to get dark out, mom & dad where expecting me home for dinner. The first time in a long time that both of the parents have been off in the evening at the same time. I love my parents. They have been the best. Shari and I are so very lucky to have them.

After dinner we cleaned the kitchen and heading off for our rooms and a good night’s sleep. That morning, dad was up and doing his treadmill, I had started on my painting. I had looked into the jobs for painters at City Hall and I went in and got a job as a self employed painter. Might as well get paid doing something I love. Right?

As the day was getting on, I was hungry called Sam to see if he wanted to meet up at the Bistro for bite? He said that sounded good. So I showered primped in the mirror, and was off on my way. I LOVE SAM!!!!

We had such a great time. But as always, time was getting late and dad was having one drink to many inside. Sam kissed me goodnight and left. Dad came out asked me if I was ready to learn to drive? I looked at him and asked, “are you serious, Hank Goddard?? YOU are ready to teach me how to drive?” He said yes and that he must be out of his mind to volunteer to teach a teen to drive. LOL I hugged his neck and said “lets go” ..

Tuesday morning came and it was the same thing as usual. Mom, dad off to work and me, off to school. Prom was coming on wed, and I asked Sam to the prom and he said of course. He came home after school with me and we did our homework, mom cooked dinner and them we went to Crystal Springs Lake  to have some much needed alone time.

Everything the next day was fine..I sweet talked my way out of punishment. School was fine, Sam said he would meet me at my house before Prom. Mom had a party to attend and dad was just working..

Prom was GREAT!! Sam and I danced all night long. I was named Prom Queen. It was a night I’ll never forget. While mom was at her party she had her Elder birthday, said that’s fine, she wouldn’t have had it any other way.

From Potty Training to School.

Time for the girls in Goddard House to have their birthday and start the stage of their life. We decided to just have 2 cakes and a private family thing for the girls, because Hank was now undercover at his job and that afternoon he was working a sting operation down at the criminal warehouse. He came home looking like one of the raccoons I’ve since down at the park.

I was hoping to have the girls blow out the candles together on each of their cakes. Hank was right behind me with Jode. I had Shari. After Shari hd blown her candles out, I turned only to find that Hank left Jode in the room and was playing tug of war with that crazy dog. I went into the girls nursery and quickly got Jode and took her to her cake and she had so much fun.

Shari and Jode had school the next day. Jode loves school. She has made tons of friends, but Shari doesn’t like it that much. She doesn’t like her teachers or any of the kids. So she came home on friday and went straight to the computer. When Hank came home she told him how much she hated it at the school and that she had heard of Dribbledine Sports Acadamy. She loved being outdoors, she was Athletic and she wanted to go there. So Hank and Jamie looked it up and talked it over that night. Saturday Shari was enrolled and scheduled to leave at 9am Sunday morning.

Shari sat studying her logic before leaving sunday. She hated to leave her family, but this was what she wanted to do. Even at her young age. Monday came and Jode was up and felt lost at first because her sister was not there to talk too. She looked over and on her bed was JoJo, that silly dog.

The bus came, and she ran to get on. The driver asked about her sister and told him the story.

Jode, sank down into her sit, and thought of her sister, what was she doing? Was she having fun? Would Sam Sekemoto be at school today?

Jamie had to be at Central Park for a free clinic and rushed off to work. Hank was doing undercover work again.She really enjoyed her job, and now that she was one step away for making the top of her career, she was great. The clinic made it easy for her to keep up with her friends and also meet the ones that moved into town.

Well time went by, Jode got on Honor Roll for 3 days, So was doing great in school. She called Shari as often as she could to see how she was liking the school and that she really truly missed her. On the evening before Jode was to take her last test before going onto high school and becoming a teenager, Jamie thought she was go over her logic facts with her.

The Twins are wonderful. We purchased swings for them so I could continue working on my painting outside. They loved being in them.

Before we knew it, it was time for my adult birthday. I couldn’t believe I was getting older. I just became a wife and a mother of 2 beautiful nooboos.

Well the next day was time for the girls birthday and so we had a seperate party just for them.

I spent the next day teaching Jode to talk. I took a couple of extra days off so I could teach the girls their basic skills. They learn them so quickly. As I taught Jode to talk, Shari was already reading her favorite books. Potty Training was a breeze. Walking??? Well lets just say that Shari was skipping the walking and going straight to running. After slowing her down some, both girls learned how to walked.

When it comes down to the end of the day, Hank loves his girls. He sends every minute he can with them. He has a hand in teaching them everything they need to know. Jode is diffenetly a daddy’s girl.

Playtime for the girls is the best. Hank and I love to watch them play blocks together. Secerts they will share, fights they will have, all in the name of sisterly love. For now it is peace in the Goddard Household.

Hi, my name is Jamie Jolina. I have lived here in Sunset Valley, I believe my whole life. I don’t know actually where to begin, so here we go. After work on Friday, I was on my computer at my favorite site. “Carl’s theSims3 Guide”. The forums there are great, so full of information. It makes a Sims life so much easier. Well there is this forum that has life challenges for any Sim that is up to taking them on. I’ve been reading alot about a recently new one called, The Townie DecaDynasty. I was amazed at the requirements for the challenge, but it helps to know that after grimmy comes, you have taught your kids how to carry on a dynasty/legacy of sorts. So today I have decided to start mine.

That evening I was just finishing up my cleaning and my good friend Thornton stopped by. He is always the flirt. I’ve never taken him serious because he is married to my long time friend Morgana. Well after about 20 minutes he gives me flowers and asks me if I wanted to date him, that he would leave his wife. This upset me and I sternly told him NO and that I wanted our friendship to come thru this and that he should leave.

This morning, I called Hank to came over and talk. He and Pauline had been having some problems lately and he wasn’t sure if he truly loved her. He said he needed to talk with me about something that had been on his mind for a long time. I walked in my room and stood there thinking. Could it be, after all these yrs? Did he finally realize that I have been in love with him since high school? I was a few grades older than Hank but that didn’t matter.

Well I showered and changed and I heard a knock at the door and it was Hank. I invited him in. He didn’t waste a minute in telling me that he had broken it off with Paulina. She just didn’t make him feel the love that someone else always made him feel with he was with them. As he continued to pour out his feelings, the look in eyes gave it all away.

Out of nowhere, I opened my mouth and confessed my true feelings right to him there in my livingroom. The smile on his face brighten, we leaned into other and shared our first kiss. Before I knew it, he asked me to go steady, I accepted. Before the night was over we had gotten engaged and married.

We enjoyed time just laughing about what had just happened and enjoyed some time together and then we hit the shower. As soon as we stepped out, I, for some strange reason thought I heard nooboo music in the air. I was tried and thought I just needed some rest, so we both headed off to bed for a good nights rest.

The next day, Hank and I received calls from our jobs with congrats and extending us 3 days off to get settled. Hank wanted to work on his Atheletic skills and I wanted to work on my painting. As we worked, I told him of the DecaDynasty off my favorite forum. He thought it was a great idea and wanted to read more about it when we got his computer hooked up.  Later in the evening I ordered a Pizza for dinner and when it came I took the opportunity to invite the delivery girl in and get to know her, because I remember that being one of the requirements later.
Well after she left, we had our dinner. Hank needed to catch up on his logic reading and I needed to finish my research. We enjoyed just sitting together and being close. Sometime later, we both smelled a faint smell of smoke and noticed that the ancient TV of mine, had a short in the cord and needed to call the repairman.

As of now Hank and I are best friends with Autumn Cusack the Pizza Lady, Carl the Repairman, I believe that’s his man. I have also got to know the mail lady and the paper girl.
So far everything is going to plan. I went back online to get a print out the requirements for the DecaDynasty so Hank and I could make sure everything was done correctly. We have decided that they 10 items are gonna be wedding gifts. For our wedding alone we received 8 gifts, one of which was a Leons Fountain of Youth!! Morgana went way out for that one.Well, we awoke the next morning to find out that we were expecting a nooboo! OH Hank was excited, he pulled me in his arms for a big hug and kiss. He told me he wanted a girl and hoped she looked just like her mommy.
I had gotten the next weeks of for leave and Hank thought I could use some company and so he brought home a stray dog that had been staying at the precinct. I have admit, Mikey has been a great little friend. I am making sure that his last days are filled with lots of love and attention. He was already 41 days into elder when Hank brought him home.

Hank was back at work, I spent my days learning logic and charisma for work. Also working on my painting.

Hank had left to go to work and about 2 hours later our little nooboo decided that he/she wanted to come into this world already. Off to the hospital I went. I called Hank from the taxi and he met me at the hospital.
